There's a small Japanese food stand tucked away in the back corner of Essex Market that serves fresh, homemade meals with a focus on healthy, balanced flavors reminiscent of home cooking in Japan. The bento boxes are my go-to because they come with a variety of daily side dishes and fresh vegetables, making for a satisfying yet light meal that feels nourishing without being heavy.
