Best Asian Food in Town

Always good.

The atmosphere is very pleasant, choices of chairs or booth or even sitting at the bar. Speaking of bar, they do offer a full bar. They offer a rather extensive menu from vegetarian, chicken, pork, beef, and seafood. I've never had a bad meal. I love their pot stickers, won ton soup (although they make a really good hot and sour soup that is pretty close to a tie for favorite soup). Another of my favorites is the combination fried rice. They have generous portions and the prices are great - VERY reasonable. You can't beat their lunch menu either. I've always been treated with excellent service, even when they are busy, which during the season is quite often. So, for very good Chinese food at a very reasonable price, you can't beat Canton Bistro!

Surcheerr says..."Oh, yeah, when we stopped by to take a short look two days prior, the hostess was very nice; but she failed to recognize us at all when we returned for the meal."
REALLY? How narcissistic can you be?! You really expect a hostess at a busy restaurant to remember you two days later? Get a life!
This restaurant has outstanding food, and service. We take guests there, and eat there frequently. Food is fresh and made to order. One of the best in the Valley.

The decor is elaborate for a commercial suite, but the large room was noisy. Granite tabletops, without table cloths, add to the noise. The champagne was unavailable because it was "hot", indicating they had it on hand but didn't chill it. The flounder was over-breaded and deep fried, NOT pan fried. The Vegetable Delight was fine. But the final disappointment came when the sliced orange wedges were served at the end -- literally. We were given two stem slices. Insulting to give a guest the least desirable portion of the fruit. When this was mentioned to the waiter, we got a "What's wrong with that?" attitude. No tip for that kind of reaction, that's for sure! Oh, yeah, when we stopped by to take a short look two days prior, the hostess was very nice; but she failed to recognize us at all when we returned for the meal.
