After trying another nearby restaurant that was unexpectedly closed, I ended up here and was impressed by the handmade steak fingers, which were tender despite being a bit salty for my taste. The fried pickle chips were amazing, the Texas toast was buttery and delicious, and the sweet tea was refreshing, all complemented by friendly, attentive service that made the atmosphere feel like a family gathering. The seasoned fries are a must-try, and the perfectly fried shrimp and chicken exceeded my expectations for a small town in the Texas hill country.
